A beautiful hand-carved wooden comb decorated with the typical curvilinear open-artwork of the Elders Tafu motifs. This comb shows incredible carving with a nice brown patina. The wearing of an elaborate comb such as this one, is a sign of prestige for it demonstrates that the woman doesn't carry cargo on her head. Combs are among the oldest tools found by archaeologists.
